Dr. Angela Vinton has wanted to be a vet since she was four years old, when a family friend became a veterinarian in her hometown of Madras, OR. She enjoyed spending time at his clinic when she was a child and eventually got her first job there when she was in high school. After graduating from the University of Montana Western, she attended the Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, she returned to work at the clinic in her hometown, before moving to the Portland area and joining the Cornelius Vet Clinic team.
In her free time, Dr. Angela enjoys running marathons (she recently ran the New York City Marathon). She can frequently be found in the outdoors, skiing, hiking, and photographing sunsets and cityscapes. She and her husband Ryan, an airline pilot, also enjoy traveling together, exploring new places as well as visiting family and friends across the country. They share their home with their Golden Retriever Elon and cat Topenga.
Dr. Angela has a particular interest in surgery and enjoys mentoring high school, veterinary technician, and veterinary students.
